With the Primary Election rapidly approaching (and the General just around the corner), we know everyone is busy managing campaigns, planting yard signs, knocking on doors, and hitting their Win numbers! But let's talk about Early Vote & Election Day; specifically, how observed elections are fair elections. In other words, it's time to think about poll watching (if you haven't started already!)

Eastern Shore Democrats is offering several ZOOM / VIRTUAL trainings - both for Central Committee leaders setting up poll watching operations and the poll watcher volunteers that will be observing elections inside the voting centers! This is a critical responsibility of our local Party infrastructure.

Upcoming Trainings

• Poll Watching Set-Up (for Central Committees & Party Volunteers): This training will teach you the logistics around setting up and managing a poll watching operation in your county. It is very important for the primary and essential for the general election. That training will also cover how to set up electioneering volunteers outside each place to greet voters, pass out literature and monitor the voting center from the outside. These volunteers jazz up voters and monitor for GOP bad actors outside voting centers.

• Poll Watching Volunteer Training: This training is a standard poll watcher training that we are offering to prospective or committed volunteers who will be poll watchers inside our voting centers. This training will cover your role, rights, and responsibilities as a poll watcher. This training is for individual volunteers and party volunteers that may want to run their own trainings in their counties
